The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 7, 2022

Approximately 11:30am – 2 votes:

  1. Confirmation of the nomination of Alex Wagner to be an Assistant Secretary of the Air Force.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.3967, a bill to improve health care and benefits for veterans exposed to toxic substances, and for other purposes.

12:30pm until 2:15pm – Weekly caucus luncheons.

Approximately 4:00pm – 3 votes:

  1. Confirmation of the nomination of Chavonda Jacobs-Young to be Under Secretary of Agriculture for Research, Education, and Economics.
  2. Confirmation of the nomination of Kenneth Wainstein to be Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Homeland Security.
  3. Confirmation of the nomination of Shalanda Baker to be Director of the Office of Minority Economic Impact, Department of Energy.

By a vote of 76-21 the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #477 Alex Wagner to be an Assistant Secretary of the Air Force.

By a vote of 86-12 the Senate invoked cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #388, H.R.3967, Honoring our PACT Act of 2021.

Confirmed, 95-4: confirmation of the nomination of Chavonda Jacobs-Young #652 to be Under Secretary of Agriculture for Research, Education, and Economics.

By a vote of 63-35, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #792 Kenneth L. Wainstein to be Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Homeland Security.

Confirmed, 54-45: Executive Calendar #772 Shalanda H. Baker to be Director of the Office of Minority Economic Impact, Department of Energy.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Following Leader remarks, all post-cloture time on the motion to proceed to H.R. 3967 (Honoring our PACT Act of 2021) will be considered expired. If the motion to proceed is agreed to (expected voice vote), Senator Tester will offer substitute amendment number 5051.

At 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes:

  1. Confirmation of Lisa Gomez to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor.
  2. Confirmation of Nina Morrison to be US District Judge for the Eastern District of New York

Additional votes are expected during Wednesday’s session of the Senate.
