Not invoked, 48-47: Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #413, S.4445, Right to IVF Act (Duckworth). Leader Schumer entered a motion to reconsider the failed cloture vote on the motion to proceed to Cal. #413, S.4445, Right to IVF Act (Duckworth).
The Senate will convene at 3:00pm on Monday, June 17, 2024.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #510 Katherine E. Oler to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for the term of fifteen years.
Leader Schumer filed cloture on the following nominations:
- Katherine E. Oler to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for the term of fifteen years.
- Mustafa Taher Kasubhai to be United States District Judge for the District of Oregon.
At a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, in consultation with the Republican Leader, the Senate will consider the House message to accompany S.870, Fire Grants and Safety Act, that there be up to 2 hours of debate equally divided, and upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate then proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S.870.
At a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the nomination of Stephanie Sanders Sullivan a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Career Minister, to be Representative of the United States of America to the African Union, with the rank and status of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
