At 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #608 Daniel E. Burrows to be an Assistant Attorney General.

Following the confirmation vote on the Burrows nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.

During Tuesday’s session, the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to proceed to S.J.Res.95 – A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Internal Revenue Service relating to “Interim Guidance Simplifying Application of the Corporate Alternative Minimum Tax to Partnerships”.
