The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

At 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Lee nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on cloture on Executive Calendar #736 Andre B. Mathis, of Tennessee, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit, vice Bernice Bouie Donald, retiring.

By a vote of 50-44, the Senate confirmed John Z. Lee, of Illinois, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit, vice Diane P. Wood, retiring.
