The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026.
At 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #560, Joshua Simmons to be General Counsel of the CIA.
Following the confirmation vote of the Simmons nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.
At 2:20pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #476, Sara Bailey to be Director of National Drug Control Policy.
