The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023.

At 11:30am, on the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #261 Tanya J. Bradsher to be Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #124 Jeffrey Irvine Cummings to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

Following the cloture vote on the Cummings nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 2:15pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #124 Jeffrey Irvine Cummings to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #198, H.R.4366, vehicle for Appropriations Minibus (MilCon/VA, Agriculture, T-HUD).
