By a vote of 66-33, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #157 Elizabeth Allen, of New York, to be Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, vice Irwin Steven Goldstein.

Invoked, 51-48: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #25 Hernan D. Vera to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California.

Invoked, 50-49: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #171 Jared Bernstein to be Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.

Confirmed, 51-48: Executive Calendar #25 Hernan D. Vera to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California.

Confirmed, 50-49: Executive Calendar #171 Jared Bernstein to be Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023.

Two votes at 11:30am:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #41 P. Casey Pitts to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California.
  2. 2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #26 Dale E. Ho to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
