Floor Schedule
The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 4th. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Aaron Christian Peterson to be United States District Judge for the District of Alaska, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate is expected to proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:
- Confirmation of the nomination of Aaron Christian Peterson to be United States District Judge for the District of Alaska.
- The motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Megan Blair Benton to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Missouri.
If cloture is invoked on the Benton nomination, at approximately 2:15pm, the Senate is expected to proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:
- Confirmation of the nomination of Megan Blair Benton to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Missouri.
- The motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Brian Charles Lea to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Tennessee.
If cloture is invoked on the Lea nomination, there would be up to two hours of debate prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination. This vote is possible during Wednesday’s session.
