Confirmed, 80-12: Executive Calendar #223 Irma Carrillo Ramirez, of Texas, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fifth Circuit, vice Gregg Jeffrey Costa, resigned.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

At 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to a roll vote on the Motion to Invoke Cloture on the nomination of Loren L. AliKhan to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia.

Following the cloture vote on the AliKhan nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.

Additional votes are expected during Tuesday’s session but are not yet scheduled.

On Thursday, November 30, 2023, Leader Schumer filed cloture on:

  1. Elizabeth H. Richard a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Career Minister, to be Coordinator for Counterterrorism, with the rank and status of Ambassador at Large.
