Cloture invoked, 77-19: Motion to proceed to Cal. #211, H.R. 3935, Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act.

At 7:08pm, the Senate stands in recess until 10:00am on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Cal. #211, H.R. 3935, Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act (shell bill for CR), post-cloture.

The Senate will recess from 12″30pm until 2:15pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.

The Senate is expected to vote on the motion to discharge S.J.Res. 114, a joint resolution directing the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress (Baldwin).
