Invoked, upon reconsideration, 50-49: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #117 Jose Javier Rodriguez to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor, upon reconsideration.

Confirmed, 50-48: Executive Calendar #117 Jose Javier Rodriguez to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor.

Passed, 70-25: S.J.Res.62, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service relating to “Importation of Fresh Beef From Paraguay”.

The Senate will convene at 11:00am on Friday, March 22nd, 2024.

At 12:00pm Noon the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #533 Ernest Gonzalez to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas.

Additional votes are possible during Friday’s session of the Senate.
