Invoked, 51-46: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #572 William J. Crain to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Confirmed, 49-46: Confirmation of Executive Calendar #572 William J. Crain to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Invoked, 49-46: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #573 James D. Maxwell II to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Mississippi.

  2. Motion to Invoke Cloture on S. Res. 532 (S. Res. 532 – a resolution authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of certain nominations on the Executive Calendar).

Cloture has been filed on:

  1. S.3386, Health Care Freedom for Patients Act. (Crapo/Cassidy)
  2. S.3385, Schumer 3-Year Biden Covid-Era Subsidy Extension.

At approximately 11:00am, the Senate will vote on adoption of the motion to proceed to Cal. #343, H.R.6644 Housing for the 21st Century Act.

At approximately 4:00pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to discharge S.J.Res.104 s joint resolution to direct the removal of the United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress from the Foreign Relations Committee.
