The Senate convened at 10:00am.

Cloture invoked, 94-0: Executive Calendar #364 Michael G. Whitaker to be Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration for the term of five years.

Confirmed, 98-0: Executive Calendar #364 Michael G. Whitaker to be Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration for the term of five years.

Cloture Invoked, 51-47: Executive Calendar #116 Jessica Looman to be Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division, Department of Labor.

At a time to be determined on Wednesday, the Senate will begin roll call votes on amendments to H.R.4366, vehicle for Approps Minibus (MilCon/VA, Agriculture, T-HUD).

The Senate adjourned at 7:00pm.

At 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Anna St. John to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

 

Following the vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.

 

At 2:15pm (if cloture is invoked), the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination of Anna St. John to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

 

Additional votes are possible during Tuesday’s session of the Senate.
