By a vote of 9-86, the Senate did not adopt the Paul amendment #2 in relation to Cal. #25, S.316, Repealing AUMF Against Iraq. (180 days after enactment) (60-vote affirmative threshold)

By a vote of 36-60, the Senate did not adopt Graham amendment #14 in relation to Cal. #25, S.316, Repealing AUMF Against Iraq.

The Senate adjourned at 7:35pm.

Floor Schedule

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

At 11:00am, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jonathan Gould to be Comptroller of the Currency for a term of five years.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Whitney D. Hermandorfer to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit.

If cloture is invoked on the Hermandorfer nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired, and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination at a time to be determined on Monday July 14th by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.

At approximately 1:45pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Gould nomination.
