The Senate convened at 3:00pm.

Confirmed, 61-29: Executive Calendar #352, Richard E.N. Federico to be United States Circuit Judge for the Tenth Circuit.

The Senate will convene at 10:30am on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

At 11:30am, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the Motion to Invoke Cloture on Executive Calendar #410 Harry Coker, Jr. to be National Cyber Director.

Following the cloture vote on the Coker nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 2:15pm, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes (if cloture is invoked):

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #410 Harry Coker, Jr. to be National Cyber Director.
  2. Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Conference Report to accompany H.R.2670, FY2024 National Defense Authorization Act.

Cloture has been filed cloture on:

  1. Jerry Edwards, Jr., of Louisiana, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana.
  1. Brandon S. Long, of Louisiana, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

At approximately 1:30pm, the Senate is expected to proceed to two roll call votes:

  1. Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Husted amendment #4732 (To require voters to provide photo identification) to the Schmitt substitute amendment #4420 to the House amendment to S.1383, the legislative vehicle for the SAVE America Act.
  2. (If cloture is not invoked) Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to Cal. #311, H.R.7147, Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026.
