Following Leader remarks the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of the motion to discharge the nomination of Jessica G. L. Clarke, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.

At 11:00am, the Senate will vote on the motion to discharge the Clarke nomination.

Following disposition of the motion, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S.2938 with amendment #5099, the vehicle for Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. If cloture is invoked, there would be up to 30 hours of post cloture debate time followed by a vote on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S.2938 with amendment #5099 (passage).

By unanimous consent, the Senate passed a bill that would extend pandemic school meal waivers through the summer.

65-33, the Senate PASSED the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (gun safety bill).

Leader Schumer filed cloture on Executive Calendar #1037 Steven M. Dettelbach to be Director, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

Leader Schumer filed cloture on Executive Calendar #975 Michael S. Barr to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for the unexpired term of fourteen years from February 1, 2018.

Leader Schumer filed cloture on Executive Calendar #976 Michael S. Barr to be Vice Chairman for Supervision of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years.
