Cloture Invoked, 73-15: Executive Calendar #376 John A. Kazen to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

At 11:45am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of John A. Kazen to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus meetings.

Further votes are possible during Tuesday’s session of the Senate, but are not yet scheduled.

Cloture has been filed on:

Jose Javier Rodriguez to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor.
Joseph Goffman to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.
S. Kato Crews to be United States District Judge for the District of Colorado.
Karoline Mehalchick to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
