Confirmed by a vote of 53-40: Executive Calendar #4 Bradley N. Garcia to be United States Circuit Judge for the District of Columbia Circuit.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm to 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 2:30pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on passage of H.J.Res.42 – Disapproving the action of the District of Columbia Council in approving the Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Amendment Act of 2022.

On Monday, May 15, 2023, Leader Schumer filed cloture on the following nominations:

  1. Executive Calendar #175 Jeremy C. Daniel to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
  2. Executive Calendar #177 Darrel James Papillion to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
  3. Executive Calendar #20 Nancy G. Abudu to be United States Circuit Judge for the Eleventh Circuit.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

At 11:00am, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jonathan Gould to be Comptroller of the Currency for a term of five years.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Whitney D. Hermandorfer to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit.

If cloture is invoked on the Hermandorfer nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired, and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination at a time to be determined on Monday July 14th by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.

At approximately 1:45pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Gould nomination.
