Invoked, 52-43: Motion to Invoke Cloture on Executive Calendar #652 Jeannette A. Vargas, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York, vice Paul G. Gardephe, retired.

By a vote of 51-43, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #652 Jeannette A. Vargas to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.

The Senate will convene at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

One vote at 2:15pm:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Mary Kay Lanthier to be United States District Judge for the District of Vermont.

Two votes at 5:00pm (if cloture is invoked):

  1. Confirmation of the nomination of Mary Kay Lanthier to be United States District Judge for the District of Vermont.
