The Senate confirmed the following nomination by voice vote:

Executive Calendar #480 Nicole Shampaine for the rank of Ambassador during her tenure of service as United States Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

The Senate will convene at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, February, 7, 2024. There are no votes scheduled. On Monday, February 5, 2024, Leader Schumer filed cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.815, legislative vehicle for the emergency national security supplemental appropriations.

At approximately 4:00pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to discharge S.J.Res.104 s joint resolution to direct the removal of the United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress from the Foreign Relations Committee.
