The motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jacquelyn D. Austin to be United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina was agreed to by a roll call vote of 79-17.

Invoked, 68-29: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #474 Cristal C. Brisco to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Indiana.

Cloture was withdrawn with respect to the Lund nomination and there will no longer be a roll call vote at 6:15pm today.

At 5:00pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.7147, an act making further consolidated appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes.

At 8:20pm, Senators will gather in the Senate chamber to proceed as a body to the House for the State of the Union.

On Monday, February 23rd, Senator Barrasso filed cloture on the nomination of John DeLeeuw, of Texas, to be a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board for the remainder of the term expiring December 31, 2026.
