Invoked, 68-13: Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #243, H.R.2872, legislative vehicle for a Continuing Resolution.

Confirmation of Executive Calendar #610 David Clay Fowlkes to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #611 Nicholas Jon Ganjei to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

Following this vote series, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 2:15pm (if cloture is invoked), the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:
