The Senate convened at 3:00pm.

Cloture Invoked, 53-42: Executive Calendar #598 Georgia N. Alexakis to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.

At 11:45am, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #598 Georgia N. Alexakis to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

Following the confirmation vote on Alexakis, the Senate will recess until 2:00pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.

At 3:00pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #211, H.R.3935, FAA Reauthorization.

The Senate adjourned at 6:47pm.

5:30pm Monday, April 13th the Senate is expected to proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Shepherd nomination.

Cloture was filed on the following nominations:

  1. The nomination of John Thomas Shepherd to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
  2. The nomination of Christopher R. Wolfe to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas.
