By a vote of 56-43, the Senate passed H.J.Res.42 – Disapproving the action of the District of Columbia Council in approving the Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Amendment Act of 2022.

If cloture is invoked on the Papillion nomination, the confirmation vote will occur at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader.
