The Senate convened at 3:00pm.

Confirmed, 82-6: Executive Calendar #621 Colleen Duffy Kiko to be a Member of the Federal Labor Relations Authority for a term of five years expiring July 29, 2027. (Reappointment)

Leader Schumer filed cloture on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S.2073, Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) and the Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), with Senate amendment #3021, and filled the amendment tree.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

At 2:00pm , Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address a Joint Meeting of Congress.

At 3:15pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #701 Kashi Way to be a Judge of the United States Tax Court for a term of fifteen years.

At 5:00pm, the Senate will proceed to a two roll call votes on the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #702 Adam B. Landy to be a Judge of the United States Tax Court for a term of fifteen years.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #551 Margaret L. Taylor to be Legal Adviser of the Department of State.

When the Senate next convenes at 3:00pm on Monday, April 13th, following Leader remarks, it will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of the nomination of John Thomas Shepherd to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.

5:30pm Monday, April 13th the Senate is expected to proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Shepherd nomination.

Cloture was filed on the following nominations:

  1. The nomination of John Thomas Shepherd to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
  2. The nomination of Christopher R. Wolfe to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas.
