11:30am – Two votes:
- Confirmation of Executive Calendar #80 David Perdue to be Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.
- Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #77 Warren Stephens to be Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Following the cloture vote on the Stephens nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus lunches.
2:15pm – Two votes (if cloture is invoked):
- Confirmation of Executive Calendar #77 Warren Stephens to be Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
- Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #78 Thomas Barrack to be Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey.
