At approximately 1:30pm, the Senate is expected to proceed to two roll call votes:

  1. Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Husted amendment #4732 (To require voters to provide photo identification) to the Schmitt substitute amendment #4420 to the House amendment to S.1383, the legislative vehicle for the SAVE America Act.
  2. (If cloture is not invoked) Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to Cal. #311, H.R.7147, Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #735, Sheria Akins Clarke, of South Carolina, to be United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina.

At 11:45am, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Clarke nomination.

Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:00pm for the weekly conference meetings.

At 2:15pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes on the following:

  1. Confirmation of the Clarke nomination.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #737, Evan Rikhye, of the Virgin Islands, to be Judge for the District Court of the Virgin Islands for a term of ten years.
