Leader Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #760, Michelle Steel to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Korea.

Leader Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #763, George Holding to be United States Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The Senate adjourned at 7:44pm.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 4. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Cal. #320, H.R.6500, legislative vehicle for a Continuing Resolution, post-cloture.
