By voice vote, the Senate agreed to the Motion to Proceed to H.R.6938 – Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026. Leader Thune filled the amendment tree and filed cloture on the bill.
The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, January 14th. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.6938, Appropriations Minibus (CJS, Energy & Water, and Interior).
