Leader Thune filed cloture on the motion to proceed to S.5 – Laken Riley Act.
The Senate will convene on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at 1:00pm.
At 3:00pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.5, Laken Riley Act.

When the Senate next convenes at 3:00pm on Monday, April 13th, following Leader remarks, it will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of the nomination of John Thomas Shepherd to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
5:30pm Monday, April 13th the Senate is expected to proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Shepherd nomination.
