Not agreed to, 47-53: Motion to proceed to S.J. Res. 107, Cortez-Masto CRA disapproving IRS Rule on 45Y and 48E tax credits.

Not invoked, 54-46: Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.7147, Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026, upon reconsideration.

Not agreed to, 48-50: Motion to proceed to S.J. Res. 103, Blumenthal Department of VA Reproductive Health Services CRA.

Leader Thune filed cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R. 7147, Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026.

The Senate will convene at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, March 26th.

At approximately 1:30pm, the Senate is expected to proceed to two roll call votes:

  1. Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Husted amendment #4732 (To require voters to provide photo identification) to the Schmitt substitute amendment #4420 to the House amendment to S.1383, the legislative vehicle for the SAVE America Act.
  2. (If cloture is not invoked) Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to Cal. #311, H.R.7147, Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026.

5:30pm Monday, April 13th the Senate is expected to proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Shepherd nomination.

Cloture was filed on the following nominations:

  1. The nomination of John Thomas Shepherd to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.
  2. The nomination of Christopher R. Wolfe to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas.
