The Senate convened at 10:00am.

By a vote of 56-43, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Jamieson Greer to be United States Trade Representative.

Not passed, 47-52: S.J.Res.10, a joint resolution terminating the national emergency declared with respect to energy.

Agreed to, 52-47: Motion to proceed to Cal. #14, S.J.Res.12, Hoeven Methane Fee CRA.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

At 12:00 Noon, the Senate will vote on passage of S.J.Res.12, Hoeven Methane Fee CRA.

At 1:45pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Linda McMahon to be Secretary of Education.

Floor Schedule

The Senate will convene on Saturday, March 21st at 12:00pm.  Following any leader remarks the Senate will resume consideration of the House message to accompany S. 1383, the Save Act.

Two votes at approximately 1:00pm –

  1. Tuberville Amendment #4421, to the motion to concur in the House message to accompany S. 1383. (re: women and girls in sports).  
  2. Schumer motion to suspend the operation of Rule 25, paragraph n-1 to permit the Committee on Rules and Administration to consider the pending motion with respect to the message to accompany S. 1383 to fund the TSA.
