Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #647, John DeLeeuw, of Texas, to be a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board for the remainder of the term expiring December 31, 2026.

At 11:45am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the DeLeeuw nomination.

The Senate will recess from 12:45pm until 2:15pm for the weekly caucus meetings.

If cloture is invoked, at 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the DeLeeuw nomination.

During Tuesday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #651, Ryan McCormack, of Virginia, to be Under Secretary of Transportation for Policy. This cloture motion will ripen during Thursday’s session.
