Passed, 54-44: S.J.Res.11, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management relating to “Protection of Marine Archeological Resources”.

Agreed to, 51-47: Motion to proceed to Executive Session for the consideration of the nomination of Linda McMahon to be Secretary of Education. Leader Thune filed cloture on the nomination.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 26.

At 12:00 Noon, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #22 Jamieson Greer to be US Trade Representative.

The Senate is expected to proceed to two votes Wednesday evening (time TBD):

The Senate stands in recess until Monday, February 23, 2026, other than for pro forma sessions on the following dates, during which no business shall be conducted:

The Senate will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, February 23rd. Following the prayer and pledge, Senator Kaine will be recognized to deliver Washington’s Farewell address.
