Leader Thune filed Cloture on Executive Calendar #64 Jonathan Gould, of Virginia, to be Comptroller of the Currency for a term of five years, vice Joseph Otting.

Leader Thune filed Cloture on Executive Calendar #261 Whitney D. Hermandorfer, of Tennessee, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit, vice Jane Branstetter Stranch, retiring.

Invoked, 47-41: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #106 Preston Griffith to be Under Secretary of Energy.

Invoked, 47-42: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #197 Bryan Bedford to be Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration for the term of five years.

The Senate adjourned at 6:56pm.

At 2:15pm, the Senate will proceed to roll call votes on the following:

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #758, Darrell Owens, of Pennsylvania, to be U.S. Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, with the rank of Ambassador.
  2. Adoption of H.Con.Res.86, Iran.
