Cloture Invoked, 66-32: Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S. 1582, GENIUS Act.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 1582, GENIUS Act, post-cloture.

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm for the weekly party caucus lunches.

The Senate is expected to vote on the motion to discharge S.J.Res. 114, a joint resolution directing the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress (Baldwin).
