Confirmed, 54-40: Confirmation of Executive Calendar #610 David Clay Fowlkes to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.

Invoked, 49-44: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #611 Nicholas Jon Ganjei to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

Confirmed, 51-45: Confirmation of Executive Calendar #611 Nicholas Jon Ganjei to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

Invoked, 55-39: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #614 Aaron Christian Peterson to be United States District Judge for the District of Alaska.

Cloture was filed on Executive Calendar #613, Justin R. Olson, of Indiana, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Indiana, vice Jane E. Magnus-Stinson, retired.

The Senate adjourned at 5:19pm.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am  on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Following Leader Remarks the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #651 Ryan McCormack, of Virginia, to be Under Secretary of Transportation for Policy. At approximately 11:45am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the McCormack nomination.

If cloture is invoked on the McCormack nomination , the Senate will vote on confirmation at approximately 1:45pm.

Additional votes are possible during Thursday’s session.
