The Senate will convene Monday, June 6 at 3:00pm. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #477 Alex Wagner, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, vice Shon J. Manasco.

At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on cloture on the Wagner nomination.

Cloture was filed on the following:

  1. Executive Calendar #477Alex Wagner, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Secretary of the Air Force
  2. Motion to proceed to Calendar #388, R.3967, Honoring our PACT Act

Invoked69-17: Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #477 Alex Wagner to be an Assistant Secretary of the Air Force.

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #477, Alex Wagner, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, post-cloture.

At 11:30am the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Wagner nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #388, H.R.3967, Honoring our PACT Act.

Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

At approximately 4:00pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the following:

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #652 Chavonda Jacobs-Young, of Georgia, to be Under Secretary of Agriculture for Research, Education, and Economics.
  2. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #792 Kenneth Wainstein, of Virginia, to be Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Homeland Security.
  3. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #772 Shalanda Baker, of Texas, to be Director of the Office of Minority Economic Impact, Department of Energy.

The Senate adjourned at 6:52pm.
